Personality

Toy Poodles are usually quite affectionate and personable once they get comfortable around you. They love snuggling and cuddling. They love being with you wherever you go. Grooming

Toy Poodles are a non-shedding breed with curly coats. Their coat will catch loose hairs which prevents excessive shedding that most other dog breeds are prone to. Thus, it is very important to regularly groom and clip the hair. Many poodle owners will have their Standard Poodle clipped to an even length all over, but there are many different styles you can achieve with a little creativity.

Poodles will need their coat trimmed at least once a month to keep it manageable and look their best. Most dog owners use a professional pet groomer that is experienced with Poodle coats. You can help your poodle by checking them over regularly to make sure that the coat is not getting into their eyes, which can cause irritation, or that the fur is not becoming matted around the feet and legs.
